Ryan keeps the practice running smoothly—handling everything from marketing and therapeutic tool development to contract building and client connections. He’s the guy behind the scenes making sure things get done, get done well, and get done with a smile.

However, with client’s informed consent, team members may consult with one another to support care planning, therapeutic interventions, or to explore referral options—either within or outside of the team. These consultations are conducted with the utmost respect for client privacy and are aimed at providing the most effective and cohesive care possible. Our T’suutina Counselling Team does work collaborative with CFS T’suutina and all documentation from this team is shared.

Born and raised in coastal British Columbia and now based in Calgary, Kellyanne brings warmth, humour, and deep clinical expertise to her counselling work. With a background in psychiatric nursing and over a decade of frontline experience, she now supports clients as a Canadian Certified Counsellor and Registered Clinical Counsellor.
Kellyanne works extensively with first responders, healthcare professionals, adolescents, and Indigenous youth—supporting those facing anxiety, trauma, burnout, and workplace stress. Her approach blends cognitive and dialectical behavioural techniques with family systems and narrative therapy, always through an anti-oppressive, culturally sensitive lens.
Outside the therapy room, you’ll find her falling out of yoga poses, lost in a mystery novel, or enjoying her favourite guilty pleasure—Real Housewives.
I was born and raised in Calgary where I met my husband, who happened to grow up only a few communities away. I am a mother of one boy, who is the absolute best, most adorable little human! In my spare time I enjoy taking my fur baby to the dog park, visiting wit friends and family and reading. I love travelling, my husband is the planner of all of our trips and always includes fun (sometimes scary) new adventures like bungee jumping, scuba diving or zobing!
If I am not working you can find me running with friends, travelling the world, reading, trying new cafes, and meditating. If there is an adventure to be had-I am there!
Nilu is a registered psychologist with extensive experience in psychotherapy. She has experience working in schools and community settings(shelters/group homes), supporting children, youth, and families through assessment, consultation, and therapy. Nilu takes a collaborative, trauma-informed approach and is passionate about helping individuals build resilience and reach their potential.
Nilu believes that mental health is just as important as physical health. Her empathetic nature, cultural awareness, and genuine curiosity make every interaction an insightful, supportive, and empowering experience.
Sheena brings warmth, creativity, and clinical expertise to her counselling work. With a Master’s in Clinical Social Work Practice and several years supporting children and youth and families in a variety of settings, she has built her career around helping individuals feel safe, seen, and understood.
She works with children, youth, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress. Sheena often incorporates play and art-based approaches, creating space for clients to express themselves in ways that feel natural and safe. These creative methods are complemented by CBT and EMDR, all grounded in an attachment-based and trauma-informed lens. At the heart of her work is a strong focus on building trusting relationships, where healing and growth can take root.
Outside the therapy room, Sheena enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, curling up with a good book, exploring nature, and caring for her two pets.
Liz is often found travelling the world, influencing culture, society and norms one post at a time. She is passionate about advocacy, education and her next vacation destination.
I was born in Taiwan and moved to Calgary with my family when I was 13, which gave me the experience of growing up between two cultures. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Alberta, as well as my nursing diploma at Prairie Bible College, where I also had the opportunity to travel and play basketball on the college team. I am currently in my final year at Yorkville University, completing my Master’s of Counselling in Psychology degree.
I also spent some time serving in the Taiwanese military before returning to Calgary. For the past five years, I have been working as a Licensed Practical Nurse in adolescent mental health.
Outside of work, I am a huge sports fan – whether it’s cheering on my favourite teams (Go Bills!), managing my fantasy league, or playing on various basketball, baseball, and volleyball teams myself. I’m also a proud dad to a new baby and an energetic dog who keeps life fun and busy. My family and I enjoy going on walks at the dog park, hiking, watching movies, and eating delicious food.
Kristie Joa is a born and raised Calgarian with a deep-rooted commitment to compassionate, inclusive care. After completing her undergraduate studies, she briefly ventured to Ontario before returning to her hometown, where she continues to make a meaningful impact in the field of healthcare.
With a Master of Nursing degree and a graduate certificate in Sexual Health, Kristie brings over a decade of experience in mental health and addictions, supporting individuals across diverse ages, cultures, abilities, and diagnoses. Her clinical practice is grounded in a wholistic approach, emphasizing connection, emotional validation, and meeting people where they are.
Kristie is especially passionate about women’s health and sexual and reproductive wellness. She is a dedicated advocate and ally, striving to create safe, affirming spaces for LGBTQ2SIA+ and BIPOC communities.
Outside of her professional life, Kristie finds balance and joy in nature—whether through leisurely walks, slow-paced runs, gardening, or hiking. Her favorite self-care activities include soaking in a bubble bath and getting lost in a good book.
Michelle can usually be seen in an oversized cardigan, a toque and coffee in hand ready to discuss anything from the best puzzle, to how big an elephant barn would need to be. This girl doesn’t go anywhere without a lunch, dinner and six snacks being prepared- and does she have a favourite- granola? Probably.
I have been in Alberta for over half my life, so I feel like I was born and raised here. As a Calgarian, I enjoy the mountains, but typically from a distance (bears scare me, and besides, the mountains do make a gorgeous backdrop). All in all, urban living is in my veins.
When I’m not working, you can find me chilling comfortably at home, either with a book or my laptop in hand, because sometimes, doomscrolling through YouTube is all I need (the amount of random facts stored in my brain is astonishing). Then, when my social battery is fully charged, every once in a blue moon, you can find me at the movies, hogging the mic at karaoke, attempting to conquer the gym, or trying out new breakfast places in the city.
As a student, I am currently completing my Master’s of Arts in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University. I am also a Registered Nurse for over 6 years now and currently work in mental health and addictions in the hospital setting. It is a job I thoroughly enjoy, which has inspired me to pursue a Master’s to further develop and expand my counselling skills.
I was raised in Okotoks, just outside of Calgary, and have always loved being close to the Rocky Mountains to escape the city and decompress. I enjoy travelling and trying new things, and even dabbled in living abroad for about 3 years, but always find myself back in Calgary, sandwiched between an international airport and the Rockies.
When I’m not working, I can usually be found going for a walk (or as I call it, ‘tree bathing’), attending stand-up comedy shows, listening to personal growth podcasts, or rewatching The Office or Brooklyn Nine-Nine for the hundredth time.
I am currently completing my practicum for my Master’s of Arts in Counseling Psychology through Yorkville University. Prior to this, I am a Registered Nurse who has worked in addiction and mental health for 11 years, predominantly in crisis stabilization, psychiatric emergency, and with first responders through the City of Calgary. I also hold my post-graduate certificate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing with the Canadian Nurses Association.
On his days off, you’ll probably find him deep into a video game, confidently pretending he knows how to use power tools, or “fixing” things around the house that somehow stay broken anyway.
